 The mission of the Child Development Center is to provide a safe and nurturing Christian environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. Ages 6 weeks to 6th grade. Program hours 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Fees as of August 1: • $100.00 per week 6 weeks to 18 months • $95.00 per week for 19 months to school age • $75.00 per week additional child(ren) • $45.00 per week after school program ($95.00 per week summer and holiday weeks) • $55.00 morning preschool God Said, "I know you by name." We offer: • "Funshine Express" early learning curriculum (www.Funshineexpress.com) with enhanced Christian supplement. • Chapel program for preschool classes staffed by church volunteers. • After school program with homework room also staffed by church volunteers. • Field trips which coincide with curriculum or are appropriate to the season. • Two to three yearly service projects including a trike-a-thon for St. Jude hospital, and two other local charities which vary from year to year. Program objectives are to help each child… • Experience God’s love through the love of teachers and staff; • Learn to work together in a fair and caring way; • Begin the process of becoming independent as well as accepting of guidance; • Become aware of the beautiful world God has created; • Learn to follow directions and listen; • Express him/herself through music, art, and play; • Feel his/her self-worth as a child of God; • Become prepared for the next stage of development; • Reach his/her potential in a safe, supportive, nurturing environment.
