MUSIC
The mission of the Music Ministry of First United Methodist Church is to proclaim God's Word, encourage discipleship, and enhance spirituality through excellent, diverse and inspirational music.

You Are Invited! Do you sing? Do you play an instrument? What are the talents God has given you? If you want to develop your talents, and serve God through your talents, take the time to look over the opportunities available through our Music Ministry.

Membership in the First United Methodist Church choirs is open to all who wish to serve. If you are interested in the spiritual, musical, cultural, social and educational opportunities available in music and the arts, either for yourself or for a family member, contact the church office.

We also provide special music (i.e. solos, ensembles) for the 8:30 a.m. traditional worship service. The Choir also performs special concerts and cantatas during the Advent and Easter seasons as well other special occasions. The Choir practices on Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the Choir Room.

The Praise Band is a fundamental part of our NOW@9 contemporary worship service. If you play an instrument or sing and enjoy contemporary praise and worship music, then we invite you to be a part of the band. The band practices on Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center.
