Worship at FUMC
|
At Ozark United First Methodist Church, our Mission is to be an obedient community of faith, believing, praising and
loving God as we respect, encourage and serve our neighbors. Our goal is to glorify God through worship.
Worship offers a wide range of opportunities for service, from greeting worshipers to sharing your musical gifts to
assisting with audio/visual equipment. Whatever your worship style — traditional or contemporary or intimate
Ozark-First United Methodist Church has a place for you to serve and glorify God.

Sunday Morning Services:
We have several services on Sunday morning designed to fit your needs.
The 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services are a traditional, United Methodist, service. Both of these services feature traditional hymns, responsive readings,
and litanies. The 11:00 a.m. service features the Chancel Choir lead by our music director, Jimmy Peek. Ceil Williams accompanies on the organ or piano.
A highlight of the 11:00 a.m. service is the children's moment. During this time, the children are encouraged to come down to the front of the Sanctuary
for a special sermon for them from our Pastor.
|

We also offer a contemporary service at 9:00 a.m. in the Family Life Center. Casual dress, serious worship is the theme of the NOW@9 service. This service
is led by our Praise Band who incorporates a variety of current Christian songs and an upbeat atmosphere. No service is the same. On any given Sunday you
might find dramatic production or videos which leads to a unique worship experience. This service also features a special children's moment. During this
time, the children are encouraged to come down to the front for a special lesson just for them. This service combines a comfortable atmosphere for people
of all ages to worship together.
